Qualifying Examination Dates & Deadlines

The Qualifying Examination is typically administered twice each year. Online QE Initial Applications are accepted throughout the year. The most up to date exam information can be found below.

February 2026 Qualifying Examinations

Exam Dates

MCQ Exam - online, remote-proctored - February 3, 2026
- MCQ Candidate Orientation - online, non-mandatory - TBD
OSCE Exam - in-person - February 7 & 8, 2026
- OSCE Candidate Orientation - online, non-mandatory - TBD

Exam Registration Deadlines

Academic Equivalency Assessment Deadline (for Out of Province & Internationally Educated applicants) – December 8, 2025
- All forms and supporting documentation must be received by the deadline in order to be eligible for the upcoming administration of the Qualifying Exam.
- After your Academic Equivalency Assessment and QE Initial Application is approved, you may then proceed with Registering for the Qualifying Examination.
QE Registration Deadline (including payment in full) – December 19, 2025
- Register to take the Qualifying Examination
- If payment for the Qualifying Examination is not received by this deadline, you will be automatically withdrawn as an exam candidate for that exam date.

June 2026 Qualifying Examinations
