Labour Mobility

An applicant who is currently registered and in good standing with another statutory Denturism regulator in Canada in which the occupational standards and requirements of denturism are, in the opinion of the Registration Committee, substantially equivalent to those in Ontario, are eligible to apply for a Certificate of Registration under the Ontario Labour Mobility Act, 2009. These applicants are exempt from the Qualifying Examination.
Please contact the College in order to transfer your Certificate of Registration (license) over to Ontario.
Labour Mobility applicants will be required to provide the following:
- Complete an online application including remitting an application fee of $100.00 + HST = $113.00.
- Obtain a Criminal Records and Judicial Matters Check from your local or national police agency.
- Letter of Standing (aka Letter of Professional Conduct) from your current regulator addressed to the College of Denturists of Ontario.
- Notarized copy of proof of citizenship, permanent residency, or legal authority to work in Canada.
- e.g. notarized copy of Canadian passport, permanent residence card, valid work permit, or birth certificate.
- Once your application is approved, you will be required to remit a pro-rated registration fee.
- Please refer to Schedule 7 of the College By-Laws for the most up to date fee under the category "Fees Relating to Applications for Initial Registration for General Class".
