Registered Denturists
Jurisprudence Program
The Jurisprudence program provides Registered Denturists and examination candidates with the opportunity to learn more about the Legislation, Regulations, By-laws, Standards of Practice and Guidelines that govern the practice of Denturism in Ontario.
Completion of this program provides Registered Denturists with the opportunity to claim unstructured CPD credits for reviewing the manual (1 credit for each hour spent reviewing the Manual) and 5 structured CPD credits for successfully completing the online exam.
The program consists of a Jurisprudence Manual that provides all of the relevant information related to the regulatory framework, including Standards of Practice and Guidelines, in which Registered Denturists practise.
Accompanying the Jurisprudence Manual is a computer-based Jurisprudence Examination that consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. This examination will help you determine your understanding of the material presented in the Manual. The examination can be accessed through the Member Portal. The instructions can be found here. You can save your progress and exit the examination at any time. As mentioned, the examination is open book.
Participation in the Jurisprudence Program is voluntary and is an excellent way to gain some CPD credits. You may repeat the exam and claim the CPD credits once per year.
