Peer Circles
Peer Circles is an innovative peer-facilitated group discussion activity using hypothetical practice relevant cases. Facilitators guide a group of 8-10 participants through the discussion of cases that highlight challenging and complex practice issues. Denturists in the group share their perspectives on how they would solve those complex issues during the guided group activity.
Since its first launch in 2018, members of the profession have been involved in the development of this activity that provides Registered Denturists with a rewarding opportunity to work together in small groups to address challenging, topical practice issues, and develop enhanced problem-solving approaches and strategies.
Peer Circles typically involve 8-10 practitioners and a group facilitator. The facilitator, who is a practising Registered Denturist, is trained to assist the group as it considers these instructive cases or issues. For more insight into Peer Circles, please watch the video linked below.
