Professional Conduct
The College of Denturists of Ontario regulates the profession of Denturism in Ontario. The CDO’s mandate is to protect the public interest. This is achieved by setting the Standards of Practice, establishing Continuing Professional Development requirements and managing the professional conduct of registrants to ensure the public receives safe and adequate care from a Denturist.
The College is required by law to:
When concerns are raised regarding a Denturist’s conduct and/or competence, the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee (ICRC) reviews and investigates such concerns or complaints in a fair and impartial manner. In more serious cases, the ICRC may refer the member to the Discipline Committee.
